what information do I need to include on my wedding invitations?

15/03/2010

It might sound like a silly question, but deciding what information to include on your wedding invitations and how to word them is a bit of a mine field! There are endless possibilities and they depend on who is hosting your wedding as well as the style of your big day and your personalities. So I’ve picked some of the most popular traditional/more formal wording layouts based on who is hosting your wedding and shown how to lay them out below. (I’ve been promising to do this for ages, but the launch of our gorgeous invitations site www.flatfiveinvitations.co.uk kept me away from blogging for a while!) Of course every wedding is different, so we work with our couples to tailor the wording to suit their style and circumstances but this will give you a good basis from which to personalise your stationery. I will post some more contemporary wording styles that you might like on a separate post. Hope you find this helpful.
